Hey guys, so I'm back with another beauty review this time for a drugstore product! I know, shock horror! And it's true, I do usually review high end makeup and firstly I wanted to quickly explain why I do that. It's not because I solely wear high end cosmetics it's more to do with the fact that if I was looking to buy a £25 mascara I'm more likely to go read up about it than if I want a £6 one. Just my personal preference! But today I am doing a drugstore review - so enjoy my loves!

Firstly I wanted to talk about the price: £3.99 is crazy cheap for a powder! I actually bought this because I'm running low on my holy grail Body Shop All in One Face Base and needed something to use until I could get to the mall. I didn't want something super expensive as chances are this is only a back up product but I've used and loved Maybelline products for years so I thought I'd try this one.

In terms of the formula it is a very fine powder that comes of very easily onto the brush - big thumbs up from me because I absolutely detest it when I have to scrub at a product to get any pay-off.

Colour wise, the Boots store I was in was quite small so they only actually had two colours. I chose the darker one because the fairest was literally white. And using it for the first time today I did find the shade to still be a little too light but nonetheless it just about matched my skin tone. I would say if you're thinking about getting this to one up your shade and go for something slightly darker.

In terms of whether or not it's long wearing, unfortunately I can't really say! I've only had it on a couple of hours so far and it's holding up fine! (I might update this post in a few hours and let you guys know then!)

One of the main things I don't like about this product is the packaging. The contrasted back and nude design is lovely but the actual plastic structure I'm not a fan of. I've used three Rimmel Stay Matte powders (which have the same snap on lid design) and so far two of the three lids have snapped in half. Unfortunately in this case I do think you get what you pay for an I wouldn't be at all surprised if this one snapped as well!

Okay, so that's all for today, I will see you guys in a couple of days when hopefully the weather is less murky and my photos will be better!
