Beauty Review: Chanel blush in 060 Innocence

Ahhh Chanel I just cannot resist thee. By far my favourite beauty company, both the products and the packaging have an innate ability in making me fall in love. So as a little treat to myself for finishing my christmas shopping I picked up this stunning Chanel blush. As soon as I tried it I was in love and just knew it had to be featured here.

If high pigmentation is what you search for when looking for a blush then you've come to the right place. I swatched this on my hand in Boots and was surprised at just how well the colour stood out. It's a perfect matte pink nude, which works so well as an everyday blush. I apply this using a Real Techniques blush brush, but just a warning, you literally only need to touch the brush to the colour because it's very soft and sometimes a little too much can come off.

On the skin, this blends perfectly with my Body Shop powder foundation to create a natural flushed glow. I'd probably recommend this for lighter skin tones but hey, if you can rock it, don't let me stop you! I don't really have a single complaint apart from the slightly over-soft powder which is a bit messy. Yes, it is expensive, but it's Chanel. If you're looking for a budget blush there are loads of great options, but for me, I love a little luxury in my beauty box.

  4. Love Chanel, even though I havent tried any of their products but that's not the point! I dislike the little applicator which comes with it, I'd rather it just be a larger blush in my opinion!
