The Sun Is Setting In Halkidiki...

And we're finally here... The last of my Greece posts! I had so many photos from this trip I'm sure if I tried I could carry this on but somehow I think we've all gotten the gist... Yes Lily we know, you went to Greece. So for the final instalment in this extravaganza I wanted to share with you all some outfit photos I took at sunset on the beach. I never usually shoot with my hair down and honestly this has reminded me why. The wind was doing crazy things, half of the shots ended up with my hair flying around like nobody's business and by the end it was so knotted and tangled I had to head straight back up to the room to sort it out before dinner. Which leads me on to say that I've *finally* booked a hair appointment to get it cut and I'm considering going ombre? Like, not fully blonde ombre but I want the tips a lot lighter than they are right now, however I'm not sure if it would suit me or not?! Any feedback welcome y'all.

Okay, so this has already turned into a super chatty post which I'm kind of happy about. Sometimes I feel like when I'm writing my posts I try so hard make my writing flowy and grammatically perfect that I lose a little of my personality. So this is me, trying to rectify that! Because when I read other people's blogs I absolutely adore when you can see the author's "inner voice" come through into their writing. If you don't like this kind of post, I'm sorry and I'll probably be back to usual for the next one!

Being on holiday is like being thrown into this serene bubble. Everything monotonous about your daily life just seems so far away, be it school or work or university, it's almost like it never existed. Or at least that's how I feel. You have time to just relax and to let other people take care of you and for once you don't have to worry about cooking or cleaning because you know that all those things are on demand - if you want it, it's there. So sometimes returning back to normality can feel a bit like walking into a brick wall: What do you mean it's not acceptable to have cocktails at 3pm?! And I know that the novelty of being back at work definitely wore off for me after about two hours of customers divulging their inconsequential problems onto me.

However - to head towards another tangent - the end is in sight! If you've been following me for a while you might be aware that this September I'm heading to university to study marketing and can finally leave the world of retail behind. *Exhales loudly*. And thank god, because honestly I think I'm reaching the end of my tether. There's only so long you can handle being treated like trash for before it starts to grate on you and I think I've reached that point now. So only two and a half more weeks before I'm free! And after that I've got approximately a month before my course begins so I'm planning to get ahead with blogging and hopefully do some more Snapchat vlogs along the way. (If we're not friends already we totally should be: I'm @lilyoliviablog!)

Another exciting thing that happening is that my family and I are actually heading to Cornwall for a few days later in August so I'm hoping to get some good vlogging done then! It'll also be a great excuse to take more photos and generally have a lovely relax before the inevitable panic about leaving home settles in. I'm actually trying not to think about it because the idea of moving somewhere where I literally know nobody makes me want to throw up. So thumbs up to that!!

And there we have it a little round up of my life! Like I said above if you're not into these more informal posts then I'm really sorry and I'll be back on track with my next, but for today's I just fancied sitting down and having a good old chat with you all.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you for all the support I've been receiving on my blog recently! I honestly don't know how it's happened but I'm so grateful to every person who reads or comments on my posts as it truly means so much to me. So thank you, you lovely, lovely bunch of people!
