So recently the weather hasn't exactly been what I'd call summer outfit appropriate. I spend a good percentage of my time dressing like I live in California only to realise that England is, in fact, still pretty chilly. But when it comes to outfits, I'm so over the black skinny jeans and jumper combo that we all live in from September through to March, so I decided for today's OOTD that I would aim to make a slightly more realistic summer outfit.
*Side note, please let me know, if you guys are also guilty of dressing like how you want the weather to be as opposed to how it actually is!!?*
I'm a huge fan of bold pattern. Some of my favourite style of trouser is the loose, cotton pants adorned with all manner of design and whilst I'm sticking with a simple skinny jean today, I've more than made up for it with the jacket. To be honest it's not something that I would have picked out for myself, but my mum bought it for me for my birthday and since wearing it once last week, I've fallen head over heels in love with it. The opportunities and ways to style it are endless, it's made of a lighter material so you don't feel like dying in the slight summer heat and the pattern is gorgeous.
Accessories wise, my wedge heels are from Topshop and they're seriously fabulous. They add a good two inches to my height (needed when you're five foot five and smaller than everyone you know) yet are still super comfortable. The laces at the side can be tied up your leg in a gladiator side, which looks gorgeous with dresses - or around the ankle like I've done.
In terms of jewellery I'm wearing a plethora of Pandora today. In fact everything that you can see (aside from the necklace) is from Pandora! You could say that I have a slight obsession...
I hope you're all having a nice day, whatever it is that you're getting up to, and I will see you all very soon! Kisses.
Oh my goodness I have to say my heart literally dropped when I saw the photo of your cat in this, ugrh so fricking cute. Regardless of this haha, I have a friend too who dresses as if it's 30 degrees and I'm still in jeans (no wonder my legs are so pale) I love that floral bomber styled jacket, gives the usual ones a bit of femininity! xx

ReplyDelete- p.s. Your hair looks so long and shiny, my hair seems to grow to a certain length and then dry up at the ends - yours is so healthy-looking, jealous! xxx
Aww thank you!! I know, she's too cute! Ahhh I would say that my hair is quite healthy but it gets super oily if I don't wash it every day, so that's the downside haha but thank you lovely! Xxx
