What I Wore: 19th Birthday Edit.

If ever there was a dress perfect for strutting around a Greek Island then it would be this one. But alas, it wasn't meant to be as I'm still in little old England, patiently waiting for my vacation in July. A girl can dream right?

Since yesterday was my 19th my lovely parents treated me to a delicious dinner at a bistro restaurant. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get any photos as the whole place was bathed in an atmospheric half light, which, whilst exuding sophistication, was kind of annoying vis a vis trying to take photos. If you're still curious, for the starter I had a delectable fried goats cheese with beetroot jus and for the main I indulged in fish and chips. But this was no ordinary, run-of-the-mill fish and chips... Oh no, it came in two separate bowls, the first consisting of a succulent fillet of cod, resting on crushed peas and drizzled with tartar sauce. Adjacent from this was another bowl, filled with perfectly soft home made chips. I'm craving it again, just thinking about it! I can honestly say that it was one of the nicest fish and chips I've ever had in my entire life.

I did manage to shoot some outfit photos before I went, and since it's been a little while since I've done a fashion post, I thought I'd share them with you today. The weather yesterday was certainly on a different scale compared to today. I.e. it's on the brink of clouds and rain today, whilst yesterday I was sun bathing on a lounger in my garden.

So clothes wise I chose this beautiful Hollister dress that my mum actually bought me for my birthday. I've just had a look on the website and unfortunately I can't find it on there, so either it's been discontinued or is only available in store. But like all Hollister clothing, it's impeccable quality and the style and fit is just gorgeous. These past couple of years I really feel like the 'Hollister Hype' has died down so much that no one shops there at all, which is crazy because I absolutely love some of their newer pieces and they're no more expensive than the likes of Topshop.

In terms of accessories I decided to go fairly simple today. On my wrist I'm wearing my Kate Spade idiom bracelet which has the words 'Sparks Fly' engraved on the inside. I've had this a little over a year now, but it's so versatile and bright: perfect for summertime!

I've paired that with a Pandora bracelet that I actually got for my birthday. (sneak peak, haul coming soon!) It's a gorgeous iridescent silvery pink colour, that snakes twice around the wrist. I believe you can wear these with charms, but I'll probably just stick with it as a chord bracelet.

My ring is also Pandora, again, I'll be showing it in my What I Got For My Birthday post, which will most likely be coming on Sunday.
